...isn't today's 'wisecrack' a repeat of yesterdays? ( or am I mistaken)....has time stopped ? is this deja vue or groundhog day? Are we travelling backwards in time?
it was a more exalted and splendid description of the 'better to live one day as a tiger than a hundred years as sheep' proverb. I forget the author but these quotes get sent daily to websites so I would have thought you would have access to it. It was beautifully written and I don't have it verbatim and so wouldn't do it justice. I maintain it's essence however and would like to see it again.
- "One hour of life, crowded to the full with glorious action, and filled with noble risks, is worth whole years of those mean observances of paltry decorum."
I percieve now of a toolbox. This toolbox is able to do things that no other toolbox can. Until ALL builders posess this same toolbox, with the same inherant advantages, nothing useful will be built.
