Even fridge magnets require a translation?

I ask myself, objectively. Does this post, and all others in fact, speak well of the blog?

What is a doomsbury post?

Lord Lloyd Ugo said...

Maybe obsfucation is a device

More widely, what is the purpose of this blog? Why is it here? What do we, are we doing?

This is not a fridge magnet.
This particular post does not speak badly 'of' anything. Other posts - it is impossible to be entirely objective on this...at present.
A doomsbury post is /has often been a slippery beast, sometimes worth the trouble of catching, sometimes not.

Everything is a device. 'Obsfucation' however, can often be in the eye of the beholder.

MORE RELEVANTLY,
DOES IT SERVE A USEFUL PURPOSE?

END.

What is it? What does it say? How are we to proceed? I need a way in, my begging bowl has a hole in the bottom...

ah, I meant 'does the the doomsbury blog serve useful purpose?'.

You raise a good point, though, you say you have 'no way in' and yet the post that you refer to is in a language that is easily 'decodable' - if it is a lingusitic translation that you are after - and I believe it is - then there are dictionaries avaliable both on the book shelves and 'online'. Interestingly many doomsbury posts are in english but their meanings can be just as obscure /unfathomable as 'a foreign language'. There are no 'doomsbury dictionaries', they often remain shrouded in 'pea soupers' and asking for an explanation is often - not always mind - met with silence or a U turn into some truly absurd terrain - quite obviously just something to throw at the 'baying hounds' whilst the author tries to make a getaway.

This is the land of 'Obsfucation' - surely you are familiar with it's hills and pastures by now?

But anyway - a 'translation' and a little background history - see next post:

comments - part 2:

Klaus Wowereit, mayor of Berlin, came out to the public in a speech and coined the now famous German phrase "Ich bin schwul - und das ist auch gut so!" (literally: "I am gay, and that's a good thing", a better translation is "I'm gay and that's just fine" ( or 'cool' or 'ok' ).

In a similar manner the post proclaims 'I'm a cripple and that's ok'. It speaks badly of nothing and is visually quite jolly - though maybe grating on the eye.

Proceed as you see fit.

- mental image in which I ask you to recall Goya's 'Saturn':

'Doomsbury devouring it's own children' (the favourite and smallest child escapes - little Tiktoc )

Maybe more later..

But for now END.

Maybe the dictionary is writing itself and maybe this goes someway as being described as a purpose.

Unfathomability must be erradicated at all points
