Referring to our previous dicussion about perspective ( eons back) did anyone notice one of the obvious and interesting differences between the two peasants revolt images? - the first is fairly contemporary and from my research appears to have originated in England - the second was painted in France but some years later in the following century - observe the differences in perspective - the french version takes the 'long view' and incorperates 'warped perspective' to achieve a more holistic and multi dimensional stance - it's also much 'roomier'. The english version is head on and crowded - like the island itself. As far as my research goes it hasn't been cropped either - although it appears to be.
